Things to do at Tazı Canyon

Tazı Canyon sits a short drive inland from Side and Manavgat, above the Manavgat river, and it works differently from most canyon stops on this coast. There is no riverbed walk here: the whole point is a fenced viewing platform perched over the gorge, with the water running roughly 250 metres below.

Most visitors spend well under an hour on site, and some tour operators pair the stop with a zip line running across the canyon for an extra fee (weather-dependent, and not always running). Entry is a modest few euros.

If you came expecting a hike, this is the wrong canyon — Göynük and Saklıkent, both further west, are the ones you walk or wade through; Tazı is a lookout, not a trail.
