Things to do in Gazipaşa

Gazipaşa sits roughly 40km east of Alanya and is best known for one thing: Gazipaşa Airport (GZP), a smaller alternative to Antalya Airport (AYT) for reaching the Alanya area, used by a limited set of seasonal charter and low-cost routes rather than the full schedule AYT carries.

The town itself is a quiet agricultural centre with a modest bazaar, a small castle ruin, and a stretch of beach that sees far fewer visitors than Cleopatra Beach in Alanya, about 45-50 minutes away by car.

There's no major sightseeing draw here — treat Gazipaşa as a transport option and a calmer overnight stop, not a day-trip destination in its own right.
