Things to do in Sapadere Canyon

Sapadere Canyon sits in the mountains above Alanya, roughly an hour's drive from the town centre, and the temperature drop is noticeable as soon as the road climbs away from the coast — expect several degrees cooler than the beach, a relief on a 35°C summer afternoon.

A wooden walkway runs along the ravine above the stream, past small waterfalls and pools, without requiring a difficult hike. The water itself is glacially cold, closer to 10-12°C, so it's a look-and-paddle stop for most visitors rather than a swim. There's a paid entry fee at the gate, and a café near the end of the walkway.

It works well as a half-day trip combined with the Dim River or Dim Cave, both on the same route out of Alanya.
