Things to do at Lara Beach

Lara Beach is a sandy stretch about 10km east of Antalya's old town, backed by low cliffs and lined with large all-inclusive hotel resorts rather than independent beach clubs. It's easily reached from the city by public bus in around 30-40 minutes, so it doesn't require a rental car or a paid tour.

The sand here is fine and the shoreline is broad, which is the main point of confusion with Konyaaltı on the city's west side: that beach is pebble, not sand.

A few kilometres along the same eastern coastline, the Lower Düden Waterfalls drop straight off the cliffs into the sea, a striking sight from a boat rather than something to plan a full excursion around from Lara itself.
