Things to do in Ölüdeniz

Ölüdeniz is a lagoon beach a few kilometres south of Fethiye, but most visitors come for what happens above it: paragliding off Babadağ, the mountain that rises to around 1,960m directly behind the bay.

Tandem flights typically run €70-120 depending on altitude and season, with a jeep transfer up and a 20-30 minute flight landing on the beach itself. The lagoon strip, a protected national park with a separate entry fee, is a pleasant but narrow public beach rather than a standout swimming destination on its own.

5 hours by road on winding coastal routes — so it works as an overnight or multi-day stop, not a day trip.
