Things to do in Selge

Selge is an isolated ancient city high in the Taurus Mountains above the Köprülü Canyon, reached by a longer, winding mountain road with noticeably fewer visitors than Aspendos or Perge. 5 hours each way, much of it on narrow switchbacks rather than flat highway.

There is little tourist infrastructure on site — no ticket booth queues, shops or organised facilities, just scattered ruins including a well-preserved theatre in a working village.

Most visitors combine Selge with a Köprülü Canyon rafting excursion (typically EUR 20-40 per person for a half-day trip) rather than a dedicated day trip from Antalya, since the two sites share the same access road and a standalone visit rarely justifies the drive time alone.
