Things to do at the Dim River

The Dim River runs into a cave system about 12km east of Alanya city centre, roughly a 20-30 minute drive depending on traffic. The setup here is built for lingering rather than exertion: a string of restaurants on wooden platforms sit directly over the cold, clear water, many with low tables and cushions where you can dangle your feet in the current while eating.

Expect to pay in the region of EUR 10-20 per person for a full meal with drinks, more with grilled fish or meze spreads. Dim Cave itself, a short walk from the river restaurants, is a separate paid, lit show cave open year-round.

This is a half-day lunch-and-swim outing, not a hiking trip — for that, the Sapadere Canyon further inland is the better, cooler alternative.
